K-pop big name Super Junior depicted its past years “as if they were playing a survival game” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

As Tuesday’s broadcast was held ahead of the press meeting for the group’s upcoming XtvN reality show “Super TV” the band talked about the show during the V app broadcast.

When Leeteuk said the XtvN show would feature the star screenwriters, Shindong added that the show has nine of them.

As the show has so many screenwriters, it was suggested to hold a survival game of the screenwriters in a “Battle Royal.”

“Well, haven’t we playing a survival game for 13 years?” Eunhyuk said referring to the scandal great and small that the group has found itself in.

Shindong agreed and said that Super Junior should change group name to “Battle Royal.”

Filipino-American singer Kriesha Chu released behind-the-scenes footage of her first performance of “Like Paradise” via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

“Like Paradise” is the lead track of the singer’s first EP “Dream of Paradise,” released earlier in the month.

In the video, Chu was shown nervous waiting for her turn to perform and yet whenever she finds a camera, she gave a big smile to it.

“I think I can show you different facets of Kriesha Chu (with the new album),” she said.

After she finished performing, she said, “I was very nervous but as they prepared a pretty stage, I enjoyed performing.”

“I was too nervous. I feel regret that I could have done better. But as it is just a beginning, I will work harder to show you good performances,” she said.

“Like Paradise” is a soft EDM-inflected song produced by Hui of boy band Pentagon and the producer team Flow Blow.

Jeong Se-woon

Singer Jeong Se-woon released a video featuring snippets from the second part of his new album “After,” via the V app Tuesday.

The video played audio samples from the album, which consists of six songs, including its lead track “Baby It’s U,” “Toc, toC!” “Irony,” “No Better Than This,” “I Love You” and “Close Over.”

“After” is to be released on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Signed to Starship Entertainment, Jeong appeared on the second season of Mnet K-pop competition “Produce 101.” He finished the show at No. 12, just failing to secure a spot in the final 11-member group.

Having gained popularity thanks to his time on the show, Jeong debuted as a solo artist in August with his first EP, “Ever.” In November, the singer won the Rising Star Award at the Asia Artist Awards.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
