BoA revealed some of the plans for her upcoming album in the first episode of her reality show “Keyword #BoA” broadcast via Naver’s V app Monday.

It is rare for the veteran singer to appear in a documentary or reveal the process of her album production.

“Your natural looks make you more attractive. Being perfect on the stage is a matter of course. I wanted to capture you when you are not on the stage,” Key of boy band SHINee also explained why she needs to appear on a reality show.

“People only see what is intended (to show). I want to show my new facet in the process of album production,” BoA said.

In the episode, she also explained how she came up with her hip-hop influenced new track “Nega Dola.”

“I went to US for about a month. I went there to refresh but I happened to write a song,” she said. “I think it is the strength that I came out with the music that I can do in my thirties and that a female singer from S.M. Entertainment came out with a hip-hop music.”

“Keyword #BoA” features the starlet sharing candid thoughts on her life and career, as well preparations for her album.

The show will also air every Sunday on the TV channel XtvN starting Sunday.

Actor Lee Jong-suk took to the V app Monday to release a video of his fan sign event held to celebrate the release of “Everything is Your Fault” (unofficial translation), a poetry book he released in collaboration with poet Na Tae-ju.

During the event, the actor not only signed copies of his books but also held the fans’ hands, hugged and took selfies with them.

“It was a very unfamiliar and new experience to prepare ‘Everything is Your Fault.’ Please support the book a lot,” he said.

Lee recently starred in the SBS drama “While You Were Sleeping” alongside singer-actress Suzy. For his role in the drama, he won the best actor award at the broadcaster’s year-end award ceremony.

Behind-the-scenes footage of the music video for Jang Woo-young’s “Don’t Cry” was released via Naver’s V app Monday.

In video, Jang appeared sitting at a desk wearing a formal suit, looking like a businessman.

Jang’s 2PM bandmate Hwang Chan-sung visited the set to support the singer. The two created comical scenes as Jang pretended he did not know that Hwang would come. They shot the “surprise” encounter scene over and over again.

In the later part of the video, Jang’s other bandmate Jun. K also visited the set. “I had been waiting for you all day!” Jang said welcoming.

“I came back with a good song after a long time. I wanted to make the most of the witty expressions from the lyrics (in the music video). I hope you look forward to enjoying it and listen to it a lot,” Jang said.

He also thanked the fans for their constant support.

“I always thank those who had been waiting a long time and those who always support 2PM,” he said. “Please support ‘Don’t Cry’ a lot and I will try to meet you often.”
