Singer-actor Jo Kwon, formerly of boy band 2AM, thanked fans for supporting his latest single “Dawn” after wrapping up two-week-long promotional activities in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Sunday.

“When I’m singing onstage, thanks to my fans supporting me and holding up the slogan of Jo Kwon or the cheer stick of 2AM. … I will be the only one who can feel that right? I was so happy to sing onstage with the energy I got from you,” he said.

“My favorite thing to hear while promoting this album was when fans said, ‘Thanks to this promotion, I was happy.’ I was so touched and felt grateful,” he said.

He also asked fans to support his upcoming activities.

“I will keep filming variety shows and I already started preparing for the new album,” he said.

Jo, 25, debuted as a member of the quartet 2AM in 2008. “Dawn” marked the singer’s first release since signing with his current agency.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
