K-pop boy band VIXX thanked fans for supporting the track “Shangri-La” on its cruise up music charts again in a live broadcast, held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

Sunday’s broadcast took on the “LieV” format, with the group hosting the broadcast while lying down.

“I held the very first ‘LieV.’ I played a large role for today’s LieV. That’s why VIXX reappeared (on LieV),” N joked at the beginning of the broadcast.

“I thought it would be comfortable if I broadcast while lying down, but it is rather difficult as I’m trying to look handsome,” Hongbin said.

After the broadcast received 10 million hearts from viewers in just 10 minutes, the group thanked fans for the support.

The group also talked about fans’ support after MBC’s year-end music show “Gayo Daejejeon,” which led them to perform “Shangri-La,” the title track from the group’s fourth mini album, on a music show again, although they had wrapped up promotions for the album in June.

In Sunday’s broadcast, N attributed the honor to the fans and said, “Many singers contacted me and asked how we prepared the performance. I was so happy.”

On MBC’s year-end show, the group danced while wearing oriental outfits and singing “Shangri-La.”

Filipino-American singer Kriesha Chu communicated with viewers after a fan event in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

She appeared on the broadcast wearing a flower coronet, a common gift from fans during the event, and holding an owl plush.

“I just came back from my first fan signing event!” she said, opening up the broadcast.

“I wanted to speak a lot but I was worried if I can’t speak much if I get nervous, but I think it went better than I expected,” she said. “So I want to meet you again and I will try to make similar chances next time.”

“The fan signing event lasted for more than two hours. I spoke so much that it took three hours!” she said.

The singer also expressed worries for fans as she had heard from some in attendance that they had not had a meal yet. “You’ve been waiting for those three hours and you couldn’t have a proper meal. Have a nice meal!”

Chu recently released her first mini album “Dream of Paradise.” The album features lead track “Like Paradise,” written by Hui of boy band Pentagon.

Jang Woo-young of boy band 2PM shared his thoughts on a fan event held Saturday in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Sunday, ahead of another fan event.

“Today I came to Shinchon (in Seoul) for a fan signing event,” he said, opening the broadcast. “It’s where so many good restaurants are and it’s the street of youth.”

“Yesterday my fan signing event lasted for three hours, so I thought ‘This is crazy!’ as it is the first time in 10 years,” he said. “But I guess I was a bit too excited yesterday. Let’s consider yesterday was like that because it was the first one and let’s not go overboard today.”

The 2PM singer released his latest solo album “Time to Say Goodbye” on Monday, marking his first solo effort in about 5 1/2 years.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
