Jang Woo-young of boy band 2PM communicated with fans before a signing event for “Don’t Cry,” via a live broadcast held on Naver’s V app Saturday.

“This week, an album titled ‘Don’t Cry’ was released. Have you listened to it?” he said at the beginning of the broadcast. “Today, I have the first fan sign event for the new album. I prepared (the event) to meet you and greet you more closely.”

The 2PM singer released his latest solo album “Time to Say Goodbye” on Monday, his first in about 5 1/2 years. “Don’t Cry” is the lead track off the new album.

“Thank you for supporting ‘Don’t Cry’ and thank you for coming to support me at the music show. Also, I think those fans who support me from away,” he said.

“With ‘Don’t Cry’ and other songs from the album, I tried to make the album which can be a gift for myself and healing for you,” he said. “So just by releasing this album, my heart is full.”
