Singer Samuel took to the V app Thursday to release behind-the-scenes footage of a photo shoot in celebration of his birthday, which fell on Wednesday.

During the shoot, he wore a dark-colored denim jacket and jeans, along with a white hoodie that had the lettering “Retrospect.” The singer also chewed bubble gum.

Samuel gained stardom last year through the second season of Mnet’s “Produce 101.”

In August, he released his first single, “Sixteen,” followed by his first full-length album “Eye Candy” three months later.

The K-pop singer released Tuesday a new single, titled “Winter Night,” in celebration of his birthday.
