Behind-the-scenes footage of the final instalment of Lee Dong-wook’s V app broadcast “On the Air” was released on Naver’s V app Thursday.

“Everyone thinks that it’s just the end of the first season,” a production staffer said at the beginning of the video.

“As this is the 10th broadcast I thought about how we’ve been together for a long time. Thinking about it, I feel proud,” the actor said. “And I think it is meaningful that I could invite fans to the set.”

When asked whether he will return to the radio show, he said, “It’s time for me to return to my original work and devote myself to it.”
“I decided to (leave the show) because I wanted to work hard on the drama and appear only as the drama character. I hope you will understand because we have had a good time with the 10 shows.”

At the end of the video, he wrote a letter to fans who had been supporting the show.

“Thank you for sharing your time on the 12th of every month. Thank you for making me shine. … All the time we’ve spent together was brilliant. Stay there just for a moment. I will be back,” the letter read.
