Actress Kim Tae-ri participated in the “Star Relay Heart Challenge” which was live broadcast via Naver’s V app Thursday.

The challenge features 10 actors completing to complete the same missions via the V app and supporting poor children in in Kenya with their donations.

During the broadcast, Kim wrote a letter to a Kenyan child and made an origami gift to complete the mission.

As she was too busy with writing the letter to say something in the broadcast, she soon felt awkward and asked the viewers whether Ryu Jun-yeol, who participated in the project before her, was also quiet during the broadcast.

For the origami gift, she chose to make a paper turtle. “I chose the turtle for the meaning that though progress may be slow, you should keep working toward your dream,” she said.

K-pop girl group Dia returned to Naver’s V app Thursday as a whole group for the first time in three months.

On a previous group broadcast in October, Jueun, Yebin and Somyi did not appear as they were participating in KBS’ upcoming survival audition show “The Unit.”

At the beginning of the broadcast, the Dia bandmates delivered New Year’s greetings while expressing their joy to hold the broadcast together.

When a fan commented, “You look happiest when all nine of you are together,” the members cheered with their arms stretched to the sky.

DIA debuted under MBK Entertainment in September 2015 with its first full-length album “Do It Amazing.” The nine-member act released the repackaged album for its third EP “Love Generation” in October last year with the lead track “Present.”

Actress Lee Da-hee opened up about her experience in the jungle in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Thursday.

The actress visited the Cook Islands in the South Pacific, which was a setting for SBS’ reality show “Law of the Jungle.”

During Thursday’s broadcast, the actress said that she had lost weight after she came back from the jungle adventure.

“I wondered whether they (the production team) would give us meals, but they really didn’t,” she said.

In the latest episode aired on last Friday, the actress worked hard helping Kim Byung-man building the house, which became a talk of town after the show aired.

“After I appeared on ‘Law of the Jungle’ I got a lot of favorable reactions,” she said expressing her gratitude.

Lee will appear on the upcoming second season of KBS’ drama “Queen of Mystery” alongside actors Choi Kang-hee and Kwon Sang-woo.
