Fans of NU’EST will not be able to get up close to Aron at the group’s upcoming autograph event, as he has been diagnosed with viral conjuctivitis, also known as pink eye, according to his agency Thursday.

Pledis Entertainment released an official statement via its fan cafe saying that the singer had been diagnosed with pink eye on Jan. 16. Due to the contagious nature of the infection, the singer will only be saying hello to fans onstage.

The band will greet fans together at the Labiotte autograph event. JR, Baekho and Ren will give out autographs as planned.

Following an apology, NU’EST’s agency promised fans to ensure Aron’s speedy recovery. The event is scheduled to be held Sunday.
