Kim Ji-won, Kim Myung-min, Oh Dal-su, the cast of upcoming mystery film “Detective K: Secret of Blood Sucking Demon” (unofficial translation), shared an anecdote from filming in a live interview broadcast via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

The interviewer asked the cast members about Kim Ji-won’s fan autograph event at the film set.

“Actually Kim Myung-min and Oh Dal-su told (the staffers to do so),” Kim Ji-won said, giggling.

“The staffers were too shy to express their support to Kim Ji-won,” Kim Myung-min explained. “At first we instigated a bit but later they did so voluntarily.”

The new “Detective K” film, based on the novel “The Banggakbon Murder Case” by Kim Tak-hwan, tells the story of Kim Min, or Detective K, and Han Seo-pil, who look into a serial murder case during the reign of King Jeongjo in the Joseon era.

Kim Myung-min will reprise the role of Kim Min, while Oh will play the role of Han again. Kim Ji-won plays the female lead who loses her memory and joins the duo’s investigation.

The film is scheduled to hit local cinemas on Feb. 8.

Actor Oh Seung-hun showed his support for the boy band Wanna One in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

As tickets for the actor’s fan meeting were scheduled to go on sale the next day, Oh tried to pledge something if the tickets sell out by Thursday.

When a fan suggested that he perform a dance by an idol group, he said, “If I can dare say this, you know there’s a song called ‘Beautiful’ by Wanna One. I thought the dance was cool, in which they step back.”

“So I want to try it. But you know there’s a difference between what you want to do and what you can do,” he said. “How could I dare (mimic) Wanna One’s sexiness? No way!”

“I really want to try ‘Beautiful’ but I guess I will have to practice for like five years.”

Asked about his favorite Wanna One member, he replied, “I love all of them. They are all handsome and all good at singing, dancing and rapping.”

“But for me, Kang Daniel! I think he’s cool,” he added.

Kino of boy band Pentagon expressed regret about his bandmate Hui in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

At the beginning of the broadcast, E’Dawn said that the group has been in Japan for two weeks for the group’s release event for “Violet,” the group’s second EP in the country.

When asked how the group had divided itself to share rooms, Kino said, “I am sharing the room with Hui but we don’t talk much. He is always lying down so I can’t talk with him. It’s a pity.”

“I have times that I want to be alone but he asks me to talk together or sometimes, dance. It’s hard (to deal with him) sometimes,” Hui said. “When Kino wants to rest, he says, ‘Can I just listen to the music?’”

Upon hearing Hui’s explanation, the other bandmates said, “Kino was the bad one!”
