Sanggyun of JBJ aired a V broadcast Tuesday from a noodle restaurant around the Hongdae district in Seoul.

“I love noodles, especially instant noodle. But as JBJ’s public activities are still going on, I can’t eat it so often as I’m worried about my face becoming swollen,” he said before eating the noodles.

He also talked about his experience eating alone.

“Actually I have often eaten alone since I was young,” he said. “When I first came to Seoul, I lived in gosiwon. There were many places where you could eat alone. So I also went to such places to eat alone without feeling awkward.”

Gosiwon are very small rooms where students live while studying for important tests. As the rooms are so small, their rent is usually cheap.

Other than the noodles, he also ordered side dishes -- sundae (Korean blood sausage) and potato dumplings.

At the end of the broadcast, Sanggyun was given a “conquest magnet” for finishing an entire meal by himself in an area popular with those who eat alone.
