The project boy band consists of six bandmates who had participated in season two of “Produce 101.” After not making it to the final stage of 11 to join Wanna One, the six came together to form JBJ.

Band leader Noh Tae-hyun said some of the bandmates had taken part in writing the lyrics, composition and choreography.
Kwon Hyun-bin added, “It is as if we debuted yesterday, but we already released two EPs.”

The group officially debuted in October last year and is to disband shortly in April. But as the group has proven popular, it is possible the contract could be extended.
