Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun modeled Austrian jewelry brand Swarovski’s sparkling choker necklace in the January issue of fashion magazine Nylon, the same item worn by Park Shin-hye in her regular promotional activities for Swarovski.

Park has been the exclusive Korean model for Swarovski since August 2016. She is now actively promoting the brand as its global model.

Swarovski told The Korea Herald on Wednesday that Seohyun was modeling the jewelry for a one-off magazine spread and that the K-pop star is not a new model replacing Park.

Seohyun matched the crystal choker necklace with a pink chiffon blouse and minimal makeup, while Park donned a femme-fatale look with a navy blazer and contrastingly red lips.

Other photos of Seohyun showed her matching blood-red crystals with a white laced dress and accentuating a casual black turtleneck sweater with a splash of pink dangling from her earlobes.
