Rookie K-pop singer Samuel returns at 6 p.m. on Tuesday with a new single, titled “Winter Night.”

This single will be a rhythm and blues track with a heartwarming melody, Samuel’s agency Brave Entertainment said Monday. The song will be a surprise gift for fans to celebrate Samuel’s 17th birthday the day after the release.

The 16-year-old singer gained stardom last year in the second season of Mnet’s “Produce 101.” In August, he released his first single, “Sixteen,” followed by his first full-length album “Eye Candy” three months later.

With fans overseas, Samuel also signed a contract with Japanese entertainment agency Pony Canyon last year. He was crowned as the most searched-for celebrity among new Korean singers at the 2017 Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards.
