K-pop girl group Momoland took to the V app Thursday to thank fans for their support after the band’s victory on Mnet’s weekly music show “M Countdown”

The Momoland bandmates said in the broadcast that they noticed their fans crying when they were named victors on the music show. They added it was still just the beginning.

It had long been their wish to be nominated on music shows, and when the nominations for this week’s winner were released, they said they could feel the lumps in their throats.

In the broadcast, the group promised to keep working hard on other music shows.

Momoland debuted in November 2016 as a seven-piece group -- JooE, Jane, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Nayun, Hyebin and Nancy -- with the EP “Welcome to Momoland” through Mnet’s K-pop audition program “Finding Momoland.”

Ahead of the release of “Wonderful Love” in April last year, the group welcomed Daisy, a contestant in the final round of the show, and Kim Tae-ha, who appeared on another Mnet K-pop audition program, “Produce 101,” as a trainee of Starship Entertainment.

Momoland recently released its third EP “Great!” with lead track “Bboom Bboom.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
