DIA’s Jung Chae-yeon will make her acting debut in February with the movie “Lala,” in which she will play the lead role of Younhee. Rapper SanE will play the male lead.

“Lala” is a fantasy melodrama that revolves around songwriter Jipil, played by SanE, who hears the news of the death of his estranged lover Younhee, and sets out to search for traces she has left behind. The title of the movie is short for “Live Again, Love Again.”

Jung gained popularity through her appearance on the program “Produce 101” in 2016. She will also be starring in KBS’ upcoming weekend drama “Let’ Live Together.”
