In the live broadcast to promote his upcoming OCN drama “My First Love,” the singer-actor said, “Especially, as (the drama) is about the first love in your school years, it has something to do with nostalgia,” he said. “I think ‘My First Love’ is a drama which gives you nostalgia about pure first love.”

The drama tells the story of a man who wishes to change the past about his first love. He then returns to 10 years ago, meets himself gets tangled up in a love triangle.

In the drama, Lee plays the lead role of Kang Shin-woo, a math teacher who has never dated and returns to the past.

“(The drama) gives you nostalgia from 2007. I even used flip phone. I think people who went to school back then can sympathize (with the characters),” he said.

During the broadcast, the K-pop star also revealed his own story about his first love.

“I was timid during my school years and I hung out mainly with male friends,” he said. “I saw my first love only from her back and I didn’t really talk to her.”

“Still, I’m not a never-dated person,” he added emphasizing the difference with the character he plays in the drama.
