Girl group Apink apologized for the cancellation of a fan signing event in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

In the broadcast, the Apink bandmates showed their regrets for canceling the event while fans had been waiting in the cold weather. They promised they would still hold an upcoming concert according to plan.

The event, which was scheduled the day before the broadcast, was canceled due to a bomb threat at the venue.

The call is suspected to have been from the same person who in June threatened to harm Apink and claimed to have installed explosives at the set of music program “Music Bank,” where Apink was to perform at the time.

To soothe disappointed fans, the girl group started the broadcast 45 minutes early. The broadcast was originally to promote the group’s upcoming concert.

Apink introduced the individual posters for the concert and talked about the group’s performance preparations. However, they seemed to be “not in the mood,” after the event was canceled.

“I hope (the suspect) gets caught as soon as possible,” Jung Eun-ji said. “You are living in Canada, right? I also know your name, but I will restrain myself (from revealing it). You’ll be scolded!”

Apink will hold the group’s fourth concert series, “Pink Space 2018,” on Friday and Saturday at SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul.

K-pop boy band Block B promoted its upcoming concert and repackaged album in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Saturday.

In Saturday’s broadcast held while the Block B bandmates were rehearsing for the concert, the group asked fans to look forward to their solo concert “Block B 2018 Blockbuster ‘Montage,’” scheduled for Jan. 27-28.

“As we are holding the concerts after a long time, we are preparing a lot of things. The stages will be filled with substantial performances and we are also preparing for an event with fans so please look forward to it.”

During the broadcast, the group also promoted its upcoming repackage album “Re: Montage,” while saying it felt awkward to release another album in such a short time. “Montage” was released in November.

The group also promised to meet more with fans in promotions for the new album, though details were not yet ready to be revealed.

K-pop boy band Infinite dropped a highlight medley video for upcoming album “Top Seed,” via Naver’s V app Saturday.

The video featured sound snippets of the tracks from the group’s third full-length album, set to be released Monday.

The album consists of 12 tracks, including lead track “Tell Me,” “Begin,” “Synchronize,” “No More,” “TGIF” and “Begin Again.”

The album will mark the group’s first album as a six-piece act. Hoya officially left the group in August after failing to reach an agreement with the agency on a contract extension.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
