Rookie K-pop singer Samuel released some behind-the-scenes footage of a photo shoot for the local fashion magazine Dazed via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

He posed against a yellow wall wearing various outfits such as a denim jacket and pants, a beige knit cardigan and black wide pants, a brown silk shirt with a scarf, and a black leather jacket and black corduroy pants.

During an interview that followed the photo shoot, the singer talked about his wish for the New Year.

“I wish to become taller and hope my face to become more handsome,” he joked.

“Many parts of me will grow and change but I will try not to lose the personality or mindset that I have now. The good parts,” he said. “I wish to live as a good person -- always be humble with a grateful mind.”

Samuel made his solo debut last August after competing in the second season of Mnet’s survival audition show “Produce 101.” He released his first full-length album “Eye Candy” in November, following his debut EP “Sixteen” in August.
