K-pop boyband NCT127 took to Naver’s V app Thursday to celebrate National Hug Day.

At the beginning of the broadcast, the bandmates were seen hugging each other without a word. The silent cuddle came to an abrupt end when Johnny pushed Mark away, shouting, “Mark, You stink! How could you!”

With his face blushed, Mark emoted towards the bandmates that he did not fart. Johnny said that it was just a joke to break the silence and kick-start the broadcast.

“There is a reason why we started the broadcast this way. Today is National Hug Day,” said Jaehyun.

He added the band had another special event today. “NCT127 got appointed as the new ambassador for Girl Scout, so we suited up for the ceremony earlier today,” he said.

Doyoung showed the viewers how to do the three-finger salute for Girl Scout, and the bandmates followed suit. Doyoung added that today was also a special day for him because his favorite cartoon gets released every Thursday.

Johnny then did some goofy tricks behind the mirror to entertain the bandmates and the viewers.

They wrapped up the broadcast by cuddling again in a bid to remind the viewers about the broadcast’s original purpose of celebrating National Hug Day.
