South Korean actress Park Chae-rim, 38, and Chinese actor Gao Zi Qi, 36, welcomed a baby boy into their family Tuesday night.

Gao could not contain his happiness, as he unveiled a picture of his baby‘s footprint via his social media Weibo. Along with the picture, the actor wrote: “It’s the beginning of a new chapter of my life.”

The couple had called their unborn baby “Liu,” which means “gift” in Chinese. Gao also added that he is “flooded with warmth just by looking at Chae-rim hold Liu.” He expressed his sincere gratitude and love towards his wife.

Gao also uploaded a picture of himself peering at his newborn baby in a loving way.

The couple had been cast as a married couple in Chinese CCTV‘s drama series “The Lee Family“ (2012). After confirming their romantic relationship in March 2014, the two tied the knot seven months later in October.
