K-pop darlings Twice took to Naver V app to celebrate the release of their new Christmas-themed single late Monday.

The carol track, released earlier in the day at 6 p.m., rose to No. 1 on charts by the time the nonet sat down for the broadcast.

“I am so thrilled!” emoted Nayeon with her bandmates at the remarkable achievement.

The girls then moved onto share fun stories related to the new track. Tsuyu said, “We shot the music video for ‘Heartshaker’ in a supermarket, and I sneakily nibbled some crisps there when hungry.”

Dahyun then brought Tsuyu into the spotlight by endorsing her “killer line” in the song, in which she makes an attention-grabbing appearance saying, “Hello, I am Tsuyu!”

The bandmates also revealed some behind-the-scenes stories about “Merry and Happy,” another track on the new album.

The pop stars wrapped up the broadcast by asking the viewers to show lots of love for the new release.

NU’EST W

Bandmates of NU’EST W became “agony uncles” in a V broadcast series titled, “Midnight Diner of NU’EST.”

In Tuesday’s episode, the quartet offered heartfelt words of wisdom to the viewers seeking advice in the face of difficulties.

A viewer said in a letter to the bandmates, that she feels so nervous about the upcoming exam.

JR responded to her plea by sharing his experience of overcoming stage fright. “We also actually feel nervous before each and every stage. But we jump into the situation with a keen sense of anticipation!” he said.

Aron, the oldest member in the band, offered more hands-on advice to the viewer, about staying mentally and physically fit in the face of a big event. “You have to get a good night’s sleep on the night before the test,” he said.

The pop stars wrapped up the broadcast by wishing the viewers a good night.

HyunA

HyunA made a surprise announcement in a V broadcast Monday.

The famed diva who recently made a successful return to the K-pop scene with new single “Lip & Hip,” said, “This single bears significance as a special present I prepared for my fans, but I haven’t had much opportunity to meet with you in person.”

The starlet then announced a Meet & Greet session to check in with her fans one-on-one. She said the special rendezvous will take place after her music show stage this week.

She wrapped up the broadcast by telling the fans she is making efforts to get closer to them.

The pop star emoted in her closing remark “Please come see me at the fan meeting!”
