K-pop star Rain performed the dance moves of latest hits by junior K-pop singers on Wednesday’s episode of MBC Every1’s “Weekly Idol.”

Rain was one of the singers who led the first wave of K-pop in the late 2000s, performing at New York’s Madison Square Garden and other major venues across North America.

However, on “Weekly Idol,” he was made to emulate his juniors’ latest dance moves to chase away doubts about his K-pop legend status.

The host of “Weekly Idol,” Jeong Hyeong-don, asked Rain to carry out rookie Kang Daniel’s sexy “Thigh Dance,” as well as sultry dance moves from Sunmi’s “Gashina.” and Taemin’s “Move.”

Despite hesitating at first, Rain gave in to the request when told by Jeong that he would be given a special opportunity to promote his new EP on the show.

The pop star wowed the show’s host with his impeccable moves. His new EP “My Life” was released Friday.
