BTS’ Jin played word chain games with fans on his birthday on Monday.

“How are you so fast?!” Jin animatedly exclaimed at fans who pulled out words in ultra-speed.

One of the fans continued the chain with Bang Shi-hyuk, the name of BTS’ producer, making Jin happily awed at the ingenuity of the word choice.

Other BTS singers made short appearances in Jin’s broadcast.

RM sauntered in to the broadcast in the beginning, singing Jin the Happy Birthday song.

“Hyung, I have a handwritten letter prepared for you,” said RM. “I‘m happy to be spending your birthday with you in Korea.”

J-hope also appeared later on, helping Jin think of words to get through the game against the more-than-competent fans.

In between games, Jin talked to the V app viewers, “My second birthday is June 13, our debut day, and the day ARMY started to love us.” ARMY is the name of BTS’ fan club.

Jin playfully read fans’ comments complimenting him on his handsome looks, and declared himself “worldwide-handsome.”

Jin urged fans to look forward to the upcoming BTS concert, slated for Jan. 8 - 10 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul’s Guro-gu.

Jin’s birthday live went on for about 50 minutes. Within ten hours from the original broadcast time, more than 1 million people watched the video from various locations around the globe. The video raked in more than 144 million hearts.

Jin turned 25.


Gugudan’s Mina

Gugudan’s Mina shared the same birthday as Jin, and also marked her birthday on V.

“Last year I went down to Jeju Island and had birthday meals with my family, but this year, Gugudan returned with new songs and I‘ll be able to spend my birthday with other Gugudan singers and Danzzaks,” said Mina.

Danzzak is the name of Gugudans’ fan club.

“It surprised me that a year has gone by so quickly and it‘s winter again and my birthday,” Mina said.

“So much happened in the one year. I’m looking forward to what’s in store for the next year.”

"Danzzak, thank you so much for congratulating me on my birthday. I hope you spend a warm winter with Gugudan's 'Chococo.'"

"Chococo" is the title song of Gugudan’s latest single album "Act. 3 Chococo Factory," released on Nov. 8.

The video showed Mina dressed in white and pink, playing with pink bird feathers.

Mina turned 18.


Pristin

Pristin's Xiyeon and Yuha featured in their V app broadcast the latest craze among children’s program, the "Shark Family."

"Shark Family," a children’s animated show created by the company Pink Fong, has a catchy tune called “Baby Shark” that is being circulated widely by the bigger popular culture.

Xiyeon and Yuha brought out a small yellow shark stuffed doll and sang along to the “Baby Shark” song.

"We became so hooked on this song. We kept singing it in the green room at the 2017 Asia Artist Awards," said Xiyeon.

"My cousin already knew about this song. Kids these days are faster than us," said Yuha.

Xiyeon and Yuha madly danced along to the children’s song, calling it “hip.” The two singers kept bumping in to each other and laughed at themselves.
