Actor Yoo Ah-in shared on his Instagram account Monday photos from his recent photo shoot for the December issue of the Korean edition of GQ magazine.

“If you don’t stir up thoughts, you can’t think of new ideas. You will be totally fossilized in one thought (otherwise),” the actor said during the interview that followed the photoshoot.

“I hope (people) know that I’m throwing myself. I am not Joan of Arc or Jesus Christ but I am, in some ways, pleased to sacrifice myself. Because it’s rewarding and it fattens (my thought),” he said.

“If not that, why would I release that lengthy piece of writing ‘Speak out to my generation’? When I was burnt at the stake?”

Yoo said that this conduct makes him feel alive.

“I used to say ‘that is my response to loneliness’ to the same question. Throwing myself to the world because I feel lonely. Now I have a bit of a different attitude,” he said.

A fashion spread with more photos of Yoo and the interview is available in the magazine’s December issue.
