From EXO’s famed dancer to a lead actor, Kai looked back at his career in a cover interview for the December issue of The Big Issue Korea.

The K-pop star agreed to be featured without any monetary reward in the nonprofit magazine, which supports the homeless.

In the interview, Kai shared about the close relationship between EXO members, who have been together for the past six years. “There’s no need for words, we just naturally know how we cherish each other,” he told The Big Issue.

He also talked about playing the lead role in a TV series for the first time. “Expressing a character is a delightful experience and seeing how people perceive (that expression of mine) makes me feel glad,” the lead actor of the KBS TV series “Andante” told The Big Issue.

He also described his appearance in The Big Issue as an honor, expressing hopes that the publication would serve as “a stepping stone” for people.
