2PM’s Nichkhun returns to big screen with ‘Brother & Sister’

Nichkhun of K-pop boy band 2PM will return to the big screen with the Thai film “Brother & Sister.”

According to his agency JYP Entertainment on Saturday, the singer-actor will star in the film alongside Thai actors Sunny Suwanmethanon and Urassaya Sperbund. The movie will be produced by GDH559, the film studio subsidiary of the Thai entertainment conglomerate GMM Grammy.

It will mark his first lead role in a Thai film in five years after “Seven Something.”

Nichkhun has appeared in dramas and films in Korea, China and Thailand, such as the Chinese TV drama “One and a Half Summer” (2014), the Thai film “Chalui-Touch the Sky” (2015) and 2017’s Korean web drama “Magic School” (literal translation).
“Brother & Sister” is slated to be released in 2018.

Nichkhun is currently on his first fan meeting tour in Asia titled “Khunvitation.” He will meet fans in Seoul on Sunday, before heading to Osaka, Japan, where he will hold fan meetings from Dec. 13-14.
