Boy band GOT7 took to the V app early on Saturday to thank fans for their support after winning at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards held at Asia-World Expo in Hong Kong on Friday.

The group was presented the best world performer award at the event.

The members of the group said they did not expect to receive the award. “We couldn’t prepare the acceptance speech at all,” Jackson said.

“The winner of the award was decided through fan votes. So we received this award thanks to the power of our fans. If not for fans, we would not have received the award,” Mark said.

“This award is achieved by you rather than us so we want to attribute this award to you,” BamBam said.

Other band members also thanked fans for their support.

“It’s 1 a.m. in Korea. We’re sorry to hold a V app (broadcast) this late at night but we wanted to convey our gratefulness,” BamBam said.

“Good night and let’s try hard also next year.”

Boy band NCT127 took to the V app early on Saturday to thank fans for their support after winning at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards held at Asia-World Expo in Hong Kong on Friday.

The group won the new Asian artist award.

“We received the award but we were so nervous (during the acceptance speech) that we forgot to mention N Citizens (fans of NCT127) who are the most important. So we came (to the V app) to thank you again,” Jaehyun said, opening up the broadcast.

“We wanted to do the V app broadcast so we omitted your name!” Yuta joked.

“I think 2017 was a good start,” Jaehyun said. “Because in 2017, our fandom got the name of N Citizen and we had various events. Now in 2018, there will be more things to come so please be with us until the end.”

“Thanks to N Citizen, we could do many things and make good memories in 2017. In 2018, we will work harder and we hope we can me more good memories,” Yuta said.

“I think it is just the beginning. We have a lot that we want to show you,” Taeyong said.
