“Infinite Challenge” returned Saturday in full gear after a nearly three-month-long strike ended at MBC.

MBC aired “Infinite Challenge” on Saturday after missing episodes since Sept. 2. The variety show recorded a viewership rating of 9.8 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

The latest episode featured the show’s cast members showing off their usual onscreen chemistry. Jeong Jun-ha talked about his many controversies on social media while Yoo Jae-suk teased him about it.

In terms of reception, the episode far surpassed the expectations by its creators. Kim Tae-ho, the producer of the hit program, said he had expected viewership of 5 percent.

“It will take some time for the show to get back on track,” he said.

“Infinite Challenge,” which first aired as “Reckless Challenge” in 2005, remains one of the longest running and most popular TV shows in the country.
