Last year, Ramsay’s restaurant business saw huge profits with annual revenue totaling 61.8 billion won ($56.5 million).

During the program, Gordon revealed he has been in love with Korean food for 20 years now. In particular, the chef expressed his newly found love for yukhoe, or Korean beef tartare.

The chef applauded Koreans for “knowing what good food is” and viewed Korean cuisine as being on the “same level as world-famous cuisines.”

Ramsay, here for promotions with Korean beer brand Cass, has drawn mixed responses lately for immense praise he has heaped on the beverage and his defense of it.
