Girl group Red Velvet shared thoughts on the group’s new “Perfect Velvet” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app on Thursday, ahead of its release on Friday.

The group has proved popular with “Rookie” and “Red Flavor” this year. During the broadcast, Red Velvet members said they were worried and yet anticipated to drop a new album after the successes.

“‘Red Flavor’ is such an exciting song so I was worried thinking that ‘Peek-A-Boo’ was less exciting,” Joy said.

“I felt burdened because of such worries, but prepared this album with pleasure. I hoped to give (fans) better songs as they loved our song,” Wendy added.

“There had been so many worries and agonies, but after seeing the finished full-length album, such worries were gone,” Irene said.

“I couldn’t wait. I thought our fans would love this when we release this album,” Seulgi said.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
