With South Korea‘s Education Ministry announcing the national college entrance examination, or suneung, to be delayed, singer IU’s reply to one fan undergoing suneung preparations has received a lot of attention, local media outlet Dispatch reported Thursday.

The fan wrote on IU’s fan club website: “I am sorry to say this, but since I am a senior in high school this year, I cannot share my ‘bok,’ Korean for good karma and blessing, with you. I am struggling to get by just trying to maintain my ‘bok.’ I promise I‘ll share mine with you next year.”

IU replied back to her fan in a witty and cute manner: “Let us all share a little bit of our happiness and luck with the fan. Me first. ’Bok‘.”

Fans, who saw the comment, joined IU in sharing the good karma and offered ’bok‘ via comments beneath IU’s.

South Korea‘s senior high school students will take suneung on Nov. 23.
