Super Junior aired a surprise V broadcast on the way to its first music show appearance in two years.

The band -- now 12 years into its career -- is returning to the K-pop scene after a two-year hiatus during which some of its members were enlisted in the military.

The band began the V broadcast from a vehicle on the way to the studio to shoot Mnet music show “M Countdown.”

“I am nervous and excited to meet all of you at the music show today,” said Donghae.

The bandmates got out of the car and walked into the broadcasting station with somewhat awkward looks on their face. Despite their long hiatus, the band didn’t go unnoticed by people at the station, who cheered loudly as they walked by.

“We will see you soon on stage,” said Leeteuk, wrapping up the broadcast.
