After a long hiatus in Korea, Singer-turned-actress Yoon Eun-hye will begin promotions for tvN’s variety show “Dear Pet, We Need to Talk,” according to the program staff.

According to tvN Thursday, Yoon will feature in the cable channel’s program that shows the ordinary lives of celebrities with their pets, with a focus on how they communicate and bond with each other. The program will start featuring the actress from Nov. 15.

The program will mark Yoon’s first local variety show appearance in 10 years since SBS’ “X-Man” in 2006. After featuring in KBS‘ drama series “Marry Him If You Dare” in 2013, she went inactive in Korea and steered toward promotions in China, where she was embroiled in a string of fashion plagiarism scandals in 2015 while featuring in a Chinese fashion survival variety show. One of Yoon’s designs from the show, which snatched first prize in the competition, was accused of plagiarism by Korean fashion designer Yoon Choon-ho. She initially denied the allegation but made a public apology months later. Yoon has since kept a low profile due to negative public opinion.

Yoon debuted as a member of now-defunct K-pop girl group Baby V.O.X in 1999, and made her acting debut with a breakthrough romantic comedy series “Princess Hours” in 2006. She has also featured in drama series such as “Coffee Prince” in 2007 and “My Fair Lady” in 2009.
