The four members of boy band Winner shared their opinions on their travel variety show “Youth Over Flowers” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Tuesday, ahead of the show’s premiere.

During the broadcast, Winner expressed their thoughts on the “kidnapping” plan of the production team.

The “kidnapping” of celebrities has been a ritual for the members appearing on “Youth Over Flowers.” The cast get snatched by the production staff and sent on a trip without preparation.

However, Winner members knew that they would get “kidnapped” sometime for the travel show because the appearance was decided through an open wish, they stood ready to go at a minute’s notice.

The production team thus had to agonize on how to deceive the members and send them on trip without preparation.

“I wonder why they had to deceive us in this way. Please check out how they deceived us through the show,” Kang Seung-yoon said.

“Even if you are the most sensitive person in the world, you would get ‘kidnapped’ if the plan is in this scale,” Song said.

“It would be the most luxurious series among all the ‘Youth Over Flowers’ series so far,” Kang added.

During the broadcast, the four also promised to do a “Kangaroo dance” in front of the Embassy of Australia in the black and white striped prison suits they wore in the show if the show draws over 4 percent of viewership ratings.
