KBS’ reality show “2 Days & 1 Night” aired a special episode dedicated to the late actor Kim Joo-hyuk, who died last month in a car accident.

The episode featured Kim’s co-star singer Jung Joon-young leaving a video message to the late actor in which he showed his regret that he cannot attend the funeral as he is currently filming SBS’ reality show “Law of the Jungle” in a remote island.

After the show, Jung’s past remarks on Kim resurfaced.

In a live broadcast titled “Jung Joon-young’s Gay Bar” held in February 2016, Jung showed indifference, yet supportive, of Kim’s then new film “Like for Likes.”

“Kim Joo-hyuk invited me to the preview of ‘Like for Likes’ on Feb. 15. I have a plan on that day but I guess I can go if that (preview) is in the evening,” he said.

Jung added, however, “Please support Kim Joo-hyuk’s film ‘Like for Likes’!”
