Newlywed actor Song Joong-ki revealed his “heart-felt love” for his wife Song Hye-gyo through an interview with fashion magazine Marie Claire on Friday.

Marie Claire released its cover photos of Song for the October issue on its official social media channels on Friday.

In the picture, the actor gave off a soft charismatic look with his deer-like eyes. Other pictures from the photo shoot showed Song gazing at the camera in a sexy manner.

Along with the pictures, Marie Claire also revealed parts of the post interview with Song. He really opened up to the public about his feelings toward his wife and career. When asked about being happy, the actor did not hesitate to express his love for his wife.

He replied, “I am excessively happy. When I think about my latest production, I am a bit saddened. I am still happy for its end product, so I do not regret my decision at all. More importantly, I think I made the biggest decision in my life at a time where I got to marry my wife Song Hye-gyo. I am truly happy that she is by my side.”

Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-gyo tied the knot at Shill Hotel in Jangchung-dong on Oct. 31. They left on their honeymoon trip in Europe on Friday. Following their return, it is said that the Song-Song couple would start their new life together in Itaewon-dong, Seoul.
