Jin and Jimin of K-pop superstar BTS unveiled the contents of the group’s shared refrigerator on Monday’s episode of JTBC’s cooking variety show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.”

The JTBC show features some of the best chefs in Korea competing to make impromptu dishes in 15 minutes with the ingredients found inside the guest celebrities’ personal refrigerators.

“I’m actually a bit worried. I didn’t know that (the production team) would take the refrigerator literally ‘as it is’!” Jimin said.

“Actually our refrigerator mainly contains cosmetics,” Jin said. “Our members take out the food to put the cosmetics in!”

The fridge revealed various kinds of instant food and drinks. “(The drinks) are mainly of our manager’s taste and the group members learnt to get used to it,” Jin said.

It also contained two packets chicken breast sausages about which Jin said, “We used to eat chicken breasts but after we earned some money, we decided to change it to something tastier.”

During the show, he also revealed the weight-shedding diet he tried. He said he used to have four chicken breast fillets per day for almost a year.

“I was advised to at least take some vitamin pills. But I didn’t take them thinking that it would further reduce my weight, which led me to malnutrition,” he said.

Jimin also revealed his weight-shedding diet he tried while he was preparing for “Blood, Sweat & Tears.”

“I don’t know why I did so but one day I looked in a mirror and thought I want to look good. I thought ‘Now I also want to be ranked high in the most handsome among (BTS) members’,” he said.

However, he regrettably took his ambition to lose weight too far and only had one meal in 10 days.

“After I did that, I realized I should never try this again,” he said. “And my appearance ranking remained the same.”
