Singer IU has become the center of attention on various online communities for her witty congratulatory remarks on the floral wreath presented as a wedding gift to an acquaintance, according to local media outlet Dispatch on Monday.

IU is said to have sent the floral wreath on Saturday to congratulate a band member, who will be participating in her upcoming concert on Nov. 12, on their wedding.

The singer wrote that she would sincerely support the couple’s love for one another. But she also asked for the bride’s forgiveness for taking the groom away on Nov. 12 and becoming a “honeymoon crasher.”

Online commenters largely viewed IU’s remarks as cute and witty.
