Balladeer Im Chang-jung will make his long-awaited comeback on Oct. 23, according to the artist’s label NH Entertainment Media Group on Friday.

According to the label, Im’s new EP will feature several ballad tracks and a duet number. The singer recently finished filming a music video for the new single in Seoul.

“Im has put a lot of effort into the new album so as not to disappoint fans. The upcoming songs will be loved by fans as much as his previous hits,” an agency official said.

After debuting in 1990, the veteran singer rose to fame with hits such as “Be a Star” and “Love Affair” in the late 1990s as well as “Love Again” and “The Love That I Committed” in 2015 and 2016, respectively. As a multitalented entertainer, Im has also pursued an acting career by starring in movies and TV dramas.

Im will officially kick off the promotion of his upcoming album with a showcase at Blue Square Samsung Card Hall in Seoul on Oct. 23.
