Jay Park’s H1GHR Music Records to hold solo showcase at 2018 SXSW

Artists under H1GHR Music Records, a global hip-hop label led by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, will have its solo showcase at the next South by Southwest festival.

Jay Park was among the first round of Showcasing Artists announced on the website of the Austin, Texas-based festival. Alongside Park on the list were other artists from the label -- Sik-K, pH-1, Woodie Go Child, Phe Reds, Avatar Darko, Yultron, Raz Simone, Jarv Dee and JP the Wavy .

H1GHR Music Records announced via social media Thursday that the artists are to perform at a solo showcase held by the label. The show will run for six hours, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The venue and date have yet to be announced.

Launched in 1987, SXSW is an annual collective showcase of film, music and interactive media held every March in Austin, Texas. The upcoming festival will run from March 9-18, 2018, while its music segment will run from March 12-18.
