Members of teenage K-pop band NCT Dream were seen making their own music video from scratch in a V broadcast released Wednesday. At the beginning of the broadcast, the members agreed to take turns to direct, shoot, act, and do the lighting for each scene of the video.

The first scene, taking place at a swimming pool, was directed by Renjun, who claimed it will look like a Marvel superhero film. Mark the actor, who was dipping his feet in the pool, told Jeno the cameraman to join him in the pool in order to get a good shot.

For the second scene, director Haechan staged a dramatic encounter between two boys developing from a banter to romance to fight. Acting under Haechan’s direction, Chenle and Mark frantically laughed, cried, hugged each other, and then fought again.

The third person to take the director’s seat was Chenle, who also held the actors on edge with jumpy directions. Constantly changing his mind, Chenle asked Jeno and Mark to sit on a bench, then jump over it, and also stage a fight with each other. After hours of frantic acting under Haechan and then Chenle’s direction, Mark finally vented his anger at the directors by jokingly charging at the camera.

All in all, everyone appeared satisfied when they saw the resulting footage, while Mark and Chenle continued to quarrel over who contributed more to the final film.
