Wacky selfie moments of Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk were revealed Wednesday in a V broadcast series titled “SJ Returns.” Wednesday’s episode began with Donghae turning on a camera to film himself backstage before a concert. Donghae appeared at odds with the camera, not knowing where to look as he couldn’t find its lens.

“Cameras nowadays are quite eye-opening. Apparently ‘celebrities’ these days use them to do selfie videos and such,” said Donghae, who was filming himself for the first time after two years in the military.

Eunhyuk, also freshly discharged from the military, seemed lost as to where to look while being filmed. He sat down with Donghae to have their conversation filmed, but an awkward silence prevailed as they were lost for words time and again.

Shindong who was filming them, told them to act natural, as if the camera wasn’t there. His advice, however, was not effective and the two continued acting wacky in front of the camera.

After some awkward camera moments, Super Junior members went onstage for the concert. Eunhyuk and Donghae pulled off an impeccable performance, despite their two-year hiatus, signaling a successful comeback for the band.

Momo & Dahyun of Twice

Momo and Dahyun of K-pop band Twice held a surprise broadcast on Naver’s V app Wednesday.
The broadcast began with two minutes of sound and no visuals, during which Dahyun played the piano and Momo mimicked a radio DJ. The two then appeared in front of the camera, asking how viewers felt about their “surprise present.”

Throughout the broadcast, Momo and Dahyun took questions from viewers via live comments. They answered questions of various topics ranging from their hairstyles to sleeping patterns.

During the Q&A session, Dahyun played some background music chosen from Momo’s playlist, which consisted mainly of American pop music. “Oh no, my playlist is now revealed to everyone. You will all know now what I listen to in shower,” Momo said. They wrapped up the broadcast by telling viewers to have a good night.

K-pop singer Jessica checked in with fans via Naver’s V app Wednesday.
“It’s been a long time since I was last on the V app,” Jessica said to open up the broadcast. She had decided to use the V app in the middle of a photo shoot because, she said, “I just wanted to say hi to all of you.”

She updated viewers with what she had been up to recently. “As you guys know, I was in Spain. Spain was a wonderful country, it was so beautiful,” she said.

Upon fans’ request, she then sang “Tale as Old as Time” from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” She held a makeup brush like a mic and sang the song.

Jessica wrapped up the broadcast because she had to go back to her photo shoot. Before leaving, she told viewers to check out her fashion brand Blanc & Eclare’s new fall-winter collection. “It was a short V app but I had a lot of fun,” she said, blowing a kiss to viewers.
