K-pop boy band NU’EST W held a live broadcast on Naver’s V app Tuesday, half an hour before the release of its new album.

A sneak peek at the upcoming album was offered during the broadcast, with the group’s members presenting the full package consisting of a CD, a poster, a booklet and more.

They were eager to tell viewers about the creative efforts that had gone into the new album. Each member wrote lyrics for one or more songs, and Baekho even composed three songs.

“I felt the creative agony as I wanted to present fans with the best I could come up with,” said Ren. He also mentioned a photo that had been the source of inspiration for lyrics, promising to share it with fans later.

JR brought up the lyrics to the song “WITH,” for which he wrote multiple drafts. He said the lines used in the album were from his third draft.

At the end of the broadcast, the members excitedly counted down the 10 seconds leading to 6 p.m., when the album was released online.
