Super Junior broadcast a discussion on plans for the band on Tuesday in a V broadcast series titled "“SJ Returns -- Super Junior Real Comeback Story.”
The group’s five members were seen at a dinner table discussing how to successfully return to the K-pop scene. They discussed what unique identity Super Junior could collectively represent as a “veteran boy band” whose members are all in their 30s now.

The band -- now 12 years into its career -- will soon be making its long-waited comeback after a two-year hiatus during which its members were enlisted in the military.
Eunhyuk, who was freshly discharged from the military, suggested that the band should be run like the Army. He asked the eldest member Leeteuk to assume a leadership position and jokingly pledged to be obedient to him at all times.

Although their discussion was constantly interrupted by jokes and mischief, they eventually decided on roles for each member: Eunhyuk will take on dance; Shindong will handle video; Donghae will oversee artists and repertoire; Yesung will be responsible for visual directing; Heechul will handle public relations; Siwon will take on investment; and Leeteuk will be in charge of overall management.
