K-pop big name Girls’ Generation is facing the biggest challenge ever in its 10-year history.

It was revealed late Monday that Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun will leave the group’s management agency, S.M. Entertainment.

Many fans expressed regret over the news. “Now Girls’ Generation is also over,” a commenter kjnquc*** wrote while another commenter oiuoiu**** wrote, “I no longer have Girls’ Generation in my heart.” “It was the only girl group I could distinguish all the names by faces! It’s a pity!” 019k**** wrote.

Some fans were still hopeful about the eight members’ reunion, with bree**** offering, “The important thing is that it is not because of conflict among members so I think there is enough possibility that they will gather together once in a while.”

Others supported the solo career of the three departing members with konm**** offering, “It is not that bad to have a fresh start. They want solo activities anyway and it’s about time.”

“They are individually competent enough so isn’t this actually better?” rhdufsy**** wrote.
