BTS’ Rap Monster went live on V, Sunday, where he explained the ideas behind the group’s latest album, “Love Yourself Seung Her.”

The “Seung” of the title is the second character from the four-character Chinese idiom called “Gi-seung-jeon-gyeol,” which is the four elements or stages of a plot. Gi is the introduction, seung is the development, jeon is the climax and gyeol is the conclusion.

“Jimin tried to break his boundaries in this album,” said Rap Monster as he was explaining the making process of the songs “Serendipity” and “DNA.”

Jimin actually barged in on the live broadcast to say hello, as he was visiting the agency’s recording studio for work. Wearing no make-up, Jimin kept his face hidden behind his hands, but exchanged banter with Rap Monster before leaving. Jimin promised he will air a V show soon himself.

As Rap Monster went on to talk about the “Skit: Billboard Music Awards Speech,” he said a few of the BTS members shed tears after being acknowledged with a “Top Social Artist Award” on stage by the American music body at the Billboard Music Awards 2017.

J-hope, who supposedly cried in the backstage, also made a surprise visit to the room Rap Monster was airing the V show. J-hope reenacted the overwhelming sentiments he had felt.

“The people we used to see on YouTube stood up to clap for us. We never expected so many people in the arena (at the Billboard Awards), you know, it was America,” said Rap Monster, thanking the fans who had been at the stadium.

“Thank you so much. Your cheering screams were the reasons how I didn’t feel so nervous on the stage. That’s how I could finish my speech safely without forgetting the words. I want to thank all of the ARMY,” Rap Monster said, referring to the BTS’ fan club.

“The more we grow, the more the need to take in criticism. Once you start thinking you’re always right, then that becomes dogmatism. There are so many good things in the world. Our lives are too short already to take in all the good things that are there in the world to see, to listen to,” Rap Monster said.

Rap Monster shared little details about himself on the V app, including that he becomes nervous when he doesn’t have a lip balm on him, and that he needs five cups of coffee a day to keep going.

The broadcast went on for nearly an hour. The clip racked up a whopping 29 million hearts within 11 hours of upload.

GOT7 on Sunday shared a teaser for its album “7 for 7,” to be released Tuesday.

The teaser clip included highlights of all seven songs: “Moon U,” “Teenager,” “You Are,” “Firework,” “Remember You,” “To Me” and “Face.”

“You Are” is the albums featured song, embodying the hopeful sentiment that “you are” a pathfinder for a battered and exhausted soul.

Each song has a GOT7 member as the lyricist. GOT7 shot the album jacket photos in Hong Kong.

GOT7’s last work as a full septet was in March, with the mini-album “Flight Log: Arrival.”
