JTBC’s upcoming idol competition show “Mix Nine” released a teaser video Saturday that featured its 400 participants.

The three-minute video showed a glimpse of the 400 participants from 75 agencies. “Fluttering challenge. Shining boys and girls. Please support their path to finding their dreams, coming outside of the training room. Please be with them in their new beginning,” the subtitles read.

“Why is my dream to be a singer? Why did I choose to become a singer and why am I doing this difficult thing?” a trainee said in the video. “I did agonize over whether I really need to quit and join the Army,” another trainee said.

“Mix Nine” features Yang Hyun-suk, CEO of YG Entertainment, visiting entertainment agencies around the country to look for new talent.

The show will be produced by Han Dong-chul, who was behind many of Mnet’s singer competition shows such as “Produce 101,” “Unpretty Rapstar” and “Show Me the Money.”

It is set to premiere on Oct. 29 at 4:50 p.m.
