Super Junior’s Leeteuk and GOT7’s Jackson updated their fans with the groups’ upcoming new releases while hosting “2017 Asia Song Festival FESTA-Fall in Music” live broadcast via Naver’s V app Sunday.

During the broadcast, Leeteuk asked Jackson, “How soon can I expect to see GOT7’s new release as a whole group?”

“Soon I guess. It will come out around October,” Jackson said.

GOT7 recently dropped a teaser video for the group’s upcoming new release on Oct. 10. The group released its latest album “Flight Log: Arrival” in March.

Leeteuk was also asked about his group’s comeback. “Our new album is nearing a close. We are shooting the music video now. I think we can greet you soon (with the new album),” he said.

Super Junior, originally an 11-member group, is scheduled to release a new album in November as a seven-member group called Label SJ, without Kangin, Sungmin, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun.

The four members are absent for various reasons. Kangin was arrested for driving under the influence last year, while Sungmin has been criticized for not communicating with fans. Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are currently doing their military service.

Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon of girl group Weki Meki took to the V app Sunday to sing fans’ requested songs.

Starting up the broadcast titled “Singing in the Room,” Choi played 10cm’s “Phonecert” which sings about holding a concert through the phone for that special someone.

“It’s my favorite song recently. I keep playing it,” Choi said.

While Choi was holding the broadcast Kim Do-yeon appeared. Kim was flustered at first but soon decided to join the live broadcast.

Kim sang Tori Kelly’s “Paper Hearts” while Choi sang Korean trot singer Kim Yon-ja’s “Amor Fati” and G-Dragon’s “That XX.”

Then the two sang Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.”

Choi and Kim appeared on Mnet’s survival audition show “Produce 101” and previously debuted as a member of the project girl group I.O.I which disbanded earlier this year after its 1-year contract expired. In August, the two singers debuted again in the eight-member group Weki Meki.

Jeong Se-woon

Singer Jeong Se-woon showed off his power playing games at an arcade in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

The first game he played was a baseball game. He stood as a hitter and hit the flying ball toward the screen at the front. “I think I hit more than 10 balls (out of 15 balls)!” he said.

He wanted to play a basketball game next but the game machine was under repair. Instead, he tried a punch game.

The highest score marked on the machine was 940. His highest score was 924. “That’s a pity… The wall of 940 was too high,” he said.

When the fans expressed their worries on the condition of his hand, he eased the fans saying he is OK.

Jeong first appeared in the media through Mnet’s survival audition program “K-pop Star 3” as a participant in 2014. He made it to the Top 10 and later signed a contract with Starship Entertainment to become a trainee singer.

He recently appeared on Mnet’s other competition show “Produce 101 Season 2” and finished the show at No. 12, failing to secure a spot in the final 11-member group.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
