BTS is taking the world by storm. The boy band has become the first Korean act to land on global music streaming service Spotify’s Global Top 50 playlist.

According to the group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment on Wednesday, BTS’ new single “DNA,” the lead track from the group’s latest EP “Love Yourself Seung Her,” ranked No. 50 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 playlist, marking the first time any K-pop musician has cracked the list.

The Global Top 50 consists of the 50 most streamed songs on the platform on a daily basis.

On Tuesday, “Love Yourself Seung Her” topped iTunes charts in 73 countries, while “DNA” also landed atop iTunes top song charts in 29 countries.

On Tuesday evening, BTS broke yet another record on YouTube with its music video of “DNA,” which became the fastest K-pop music video to hit 20 million views.

BTS will perform songs from “Love Yourself Seung Her” for the first time on the “BTS Comeback Show” on Mnet at 8:30 p.m. here, to be broadcast simultaneously on Mnet Japan and streamed live on other online platforms, including JOOX, Viki and iflix.
